About the Course
Arabic is a language of rich history and culture, spoken by over 400 million people across the world. As one of the six most widely spoken languages globally, Arabic belongs to the Semitic language family, alongside Hebrew and Amharic. It is an essential language in international affairs and holds great importance in the Islamic world, being the language of the Quran, the holy book of Islam.
Arabic isn’t only spoken in the Middle East, but also in countries like North Africa, Iraq, and Syria. Modern Standard Arabic is the formal version used in media, books, and official communications, while regional dialects are spoken in everyday conversations.
